Scope

This standard specifies a headspace-gas chromatography/mass spectrometry method for the determination of solvent residues in regenerated cellulose film material coatings. This standard is applicable to the determination of 18 solvent residues in coatings of regenerated cellulose film materials in contact with food. The English names and Chemical Abstracts numbers of the 18 solvents are shown in Appendix A.
