- This standard specifies lead (Pb), arsenic (As), mercury (Hg), cadmium (Cd), copper (Cu), chromium (Cr), selenium (Se), nickel (Ni), Inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (ICP-MS) and inductively coupled plasma for the contents of twelve elements (hereinafter referred to as 12 elements) such as tin (Sn), zinc (Zn), manganese (Mn), and iron (Fe) Optical emission spectroscopy (ICP-AES) measurement method. This standard is applicable to the determination of the above 12 elements in ginseng, cork, perilla leaves, honeysuckle, wolfberry, ephedra and other botanical Chinese medicinal materials.
