Scope
This standard specifies the microwave ashing inductively coupled plasma emission spectrometry method for the determination of calcium, magnesium, aluminum, silicon, titanium, cobalt, antimony and zinc in plastics and their products. This standard is suitable for the determination of calcium, magnesium, aluminum, silicon, titanium, cobalt, antimony and zinc in plastics and their products. The lower limits of determination are respectively magnesium, titanium and zinc: 0.1 mg/kg, cobalt: 0.2 mg/kg. Calcium: 0.5 mg/kg, aluminum and silicon: 1.0 mg/kg, antimony: 2.0 mg/kg.
