This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of chloroprene latex CRL 50LK. This standard applies to cationic chloroprene latex prepared by emulsion polymerization using chloroprene as the monomer and cationic soap as the emulsifier. The latex is a highly gel-type polymer with medium crystallinity and the properties of chloroprene rubber.
