- This part of SY/T 6662 specifies the product classification, materials, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of reinforced ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene composite continuous pipes (hereinafter referred to as continuous pipes) and joints. This section is applicable to coiled pipes and joints used for underground transportation of crude oil, gas, water and other fluid media (including industrial wastewater) in the oil and gas industry where the long-term operating temperature does not exceed 70°C.
