- This standard specifies the technical requirements that should be followed for operation control of energy storage systems that store electrical energy in electrochemical form when connected to the dis ribution network. This standard is applicable to electrochemical energy storage systems connected to dis ribution grids with voltage levels of 10 (20) kV and below. Other types of energy storage systems connected to dis ribution grids and energy storage systems in microgrids can be implemented as a reference.
