- This standard specifies the terms and definitions, markings, materials, general technical requirements, physical properties, markings, etc. of polyester and polyolefin twin-fiber ropes. This standard is applicable to identify the quality of 3-strand twisted ropes, 8-strand and 12-strand braided ropes with polyester and polyolefin double fibers as raw materials, linear density 15.7 ktex~14 900 ktex, and rope code 6~160.
