- This guiding technical document specifies the method for testing the wake velocity field (including turbulence characteristics) of a submarine model using a hot-wire anemometer speed measurement system in a low-speed wind tunnel. Other testing methods such as Pitot tube (rake), LDA and PIV can be implemented as a reference. This guiding technical document is suitable for conducting submarine model wake velocity field testing in low-speed wind tunnels. Other similar model flow field tests in low-speed wind tunnels can also be carried out with reference.
