- This standard specifies the technical requirements for the design, drilling and construction of groundwater monitoring wells, physical detection wells, well construction, pumping tests and water sample collection, coordinate elevation measurement, monitoring well protection and monitor installation, monitoring well acceptance and data archiving. This standard is applicable to the construction and protection of national groundwater monitoring wells. It is the basis and criterion for the design, construction, acceptance and protection of national groundwater monitoring wells. It can be used as a reference for the construction of other groundwater monitoring wells.
