- Scope
- This standard specifies the responsibilities and basic requirements for the protection of hydrogen sulfide occupational hazards, identification and risk assessment of occupational exposure to hydrogen sulfide, occupational health protection measures and emergency rescue measures. This standard applies to the prevention and control of hydrogen sulfide hazards in occupational activities. Hydrogen sulfide protection during underground operations in coal and metal mining and dressing industries is not within the scope of application of this standard.
