Scope

This section specifies the basic methods and requirements for indoor rearing of Encarsia formosa using Bemis a tabaci nymphs and Trialeurodes vaprorariorum nymphs. This section is applicable to the indoor breeding method of using whitefly nymphs on tomato plants and greenhouse whitefly nymphs as live hosts to propagate callipids. Other plants can be used as host plants.
