This standard specifies the high-performance liquid chromatography method for the determination of six anthocyanins in plant-derived foods: delphinidin, cyanidin, petunia pigment, geranium pigment, paeoniflorin and mallow pigment. This standard is applicable to the determination of anthocyanin content in plant-derived foods. The detection limit of this standard: The detection limit of five anthocyanins, delphinidin, cyanidin, geranium pigment, paeoniflorin and mallow pigment, based on the weighing sample amount of 1 g and the fixed volume of 50 mL. Both are 0.15 mg/kg; the detection limit of petunia pigment is 0.5 mg/kg. Under the same conditions, the limit of quantitation: delphinidin, cyanidin, geranium pigment, paeoniflorin and malvacin are all 0.5 mg/kg; petunia pigment is 1.5 mg/kg.
