- This standard specifies the samples, equipment, test procedures and result processing for the thermal stability test of quartz glass. This standard is applicable to the inspection of thermal stability of various quartz glass and its products. This standard specifies two methods: A method: water cooling method. Mainly suitable for transparent and opaque quartz glass and its products. Method B: air cooling method. It is mainly suitable for opaque quartz glass bricks and opalescent tubes, etc.
