Scope

This standard specifies devices and simple measuring methods for regularly measuring the dimensions of refractory bricks. This standard also specifies methods for checking whether brick shapes match and measuring convex, concave, and square distortions. However, what is specified in this standard is not used as a criterion for acceptance or rejection of bricks. Unless otherwise stated, the methods described in this standard are KS L ISO 5019-1 to KS L ISO 5019-6 and KS L ISO. Applicable is limited to the standard form according to 5417.
