KS I ISO 16000-25:2013 Indoor air ― Part 25: Determination of the emission of semi-volatile organic compounds by building products ― Micro-chamber method
This standard specifies a test method to measure the emission amount per unit area of semi-volatile organic compounds (SVOC) emitted from newly produced building materials or furniture under specified environmental conditions using a microchamber. This method can, in principle, be applied even to older products. This measurement method applies to products and materials such as boards, wallpaper, flooring, insulation, adhesives, paints and combination products. Product sampling, transportation, storage and test specimen preparation are specified in KS I ISO 16000-11. Air sampling and analysis for SVOC measurement are in accordance with KS I ISO 16000-6 and KS I ISO 16017-1. Examples of microchambers are described in Annex B.
