Scope
This standard defines requirements for the design, requirements and performance measurements of stand-alone solar power pumping systems. The measurement outline is applicable to both indoor testing using solar generator simulators and outdoor testing using actual solar power generators. . This standard applies to motor-pump systems connected to solar power generators directly or through a converter (DC → DC or DC → AC). This standard does not apply to systems with charging devices unless the electrical charging device is used only for pump starting (<100 Wh). The purpose is to establish solar pump system design verification procedures for specific environmental conditions. . This standard presents the following pump system design characteristics: · Flow versus power characteristics at constant head · Flow versus head characteristics at constant speed · System design parameters and requirements · System specifications · Documentation requirements · System design verification procedures This standard The purpose is to establish requirements for verifying the system performance characteristics of solar pump systems. For this purpose, we outline the test setup, define the measurements to be performed and their biases, and present a checklist for data acquisition.
