Scope
This standard specifies the requirements for dual-coated grade 200 enameled square copper wire. The base coating is based on modifiable polyester or polyesterimide resin. However, the coating must retain the chemical homogeneity of the original resin and meet all specified wire requirements. The overlay coating is based on polyamide-imide resin. Class 200 is a thermal class that requires a minimum temperature index of 200 and a thermal shock temperature of not less than 220 ° C. The temperature index corresponding to the Celsius temperature must be the recommended temperature at which the wire is operated. It does not have to be , and is determined by a variety of factors, including the type of equipment involved. The ranges of nominal conductor diameters to which this standard applies are as follows: Width: 2.0 mm or more and 16.0 mm or less. Thickness: 0.80 mm or more but 5.60 mm or less1 Grade 1 and 2 wires are included in this standard and apply to the entire conductor range. The sum of specified widths and thicknesses and specified width/thickness ratios are given in IEC 60317-0-2.
