Scope
This standard provides for stable lighting and discharge of cold cathode lamps (or similar types of lamps) mainly for neon signs, advertising, signs, signals and similar purposes at an alternating voltage of 1 000 V or less at a frequency of 60 Hz. , Applies to stand-alone or built-in single-phase transformers whose no-load output voltage exceeds 1 000 V and does not exceed 15 000 V, and whose input and output windings are separated. The performance should be checked to ensure the safety of the transformer. However, since the characteristics of this lamp are not standardized, a standard load was defined to ensure reproducibility of test results. In areas with special conditions, such as on ships or automobiles, and in hazardous areas where explosions may occur, special structures are required. This standard It does not apply to transformers for lighting lamps such as low- or high-pressure sodium lamps, high-pressure mercury lamps, halogen lamps, xenon lamps, hot cathode tubular fluorescent lamps, and special lamps for copiers. This standard does not apply to unitary transformers and converters. This standard applies to the scope of transformers for camera lamps and similar transformers whose characteristics are not specified in other standards. Capacitors are in accordance with KS C IEC 61048. The tests of this standard are type tests. test
