This standard is applied together with KS B ISO 4254-1 and specifies safety requirements and verification in the design and manufacture of mounted, semi-mounted, towed, and self-propelled pesticide and fertilizer spreading devices designed for one-person operation. . It also specifies the type of information on safe working methods, including potential hazards, to be provided by the manufacturer. This standard does not apply to:
——Pedestrian-controlled sprayers - Distributed sprayers - Aerial sprayers - Manual spraying When equipment (e.g. spray gun) differs from the requirements of the standard and those mentioned in KS B ISO 4254-1, for machines designed and built in accordance with the provisions of this standard, this shall be less than the requirements of KS B ISO 4254-1. This standard, together with KS B ISO 4254-1, addresses serious hazards and hazardous situations and accidents associated with exterminators and fertilizer spreaders when used in the manner intended by the manufacturer or under circumstances foreseen by the manufacturer (see section 4). Risks arising from the following are excluded:
——Automatically adjusting application height adjustment system - Electrostatic phenomena - Electromagnetic compatibility - Environment other than noise - Air quality inside the cabin Inhalation of sprayed pesticides due to lack of effective means to enable breathing.
