Scope

This standard specifies test methods for the determination of the output and energy of continuous and pulsed lasers, and temporal characteristics such as pulse shape, duration, and repetition rate. This standard also presents test and evaluation methods for the output stability of continuous lasers, the energy stability of pulsed lasers, the sustained stability of pulses, and the repetition rate stability of pulses.
