The document specifies a dynamic method for the preparation of hydrogen peroxide calibration gas mixtures which is based on the permeation principle. A static method is not applicable due to the instability of gasmixtures containing hydrogen peroxide. The permeation method provides calibration gas mixtures with hydrogen peroxide volume ratios ranging from some ppbv to some ppmv, which can be set by adjusting the volume flow rates, the length and diameter of the permeation tube, the concentration and the temperature of the hydrogen peroxide solution which serves as hydrogen peroxide source.
