Scope
Meteorological measurements for air pollution control purposes are necessary to assess immission processes, but can also be suitable for displaying air quality. The measured variables global radiation, direct solar radiation and radiation balance are particularly suitable for measuring solar radiation. This guideline, which was drawn up for the purpose of air pollution control, covers measurement procedures, location selection, calibration, maintenance and evaluation procedures for the measured variables global radiation, direct solar radiation and radiation balance.
