Scope
Time-of-flight spectrometers are used for filter testing, for the specification of inhalators, in inhalation toxicology and, in combination with suitable dispersers, in powder measurement technology, etc. This standard describes the use of the time-of-flight spectrometer for the determination of the particle number concentration and the number size distribution in ambient air.
