This standard specifies a sensory analysis method for the differential test of two types of samples - "A" - "non-A" test. This standard is applicable to determine the differences in sensory properties of products due to differences in raw materials, processing, handling, packaging and storage. Especially suitable for evaluating samples with different appearance or aftertaste. The method specified in this standard is also applicable to sensitivity testing, which is used to determine whether the assessor can distinguish a new stimulus related to a known stimulus or to determine the sensitivity of the assessor to a special stimulus.
