Scope

This standard specifies the method for determination of carbonate carbon dioxide content in coal (fly ash, slag) by hydrochloric acid decomposition-coulomb titration method. This standard is applicable to the determination of carbonate carbon dioxide in coal (including lignite, bituminous coal and anthracite) and coal combustion products (fly ash, slag) in thermal power plants.
