CY/T 128-2015 Graphic technology. Methods of adjustment of the colour reproduction of a printing system to match a set of characterization data (English Version)
This standard specifies three methods for adjusting digital data so that multiple printing equipment using adjusted data can achieve consistent printing results when achieving the same printing target value. These three methods are usually called: a) tone value curve matching method; b) near-neutral gray ladder method; c) CMYK to CMYK multi-dimensional conversion method. This standard contains methods and procedures for establishing the target conditions for the required conversion curve, methods and procedures for determining a single conversion curve, and a comparison of the applicability of the three methods. These adjustment methods and steps apply to printing systems using CMYK colorants, including but not limited to those using traditional inks to print on paper, and may also apply to other systems such as proofing and/or digital printing systems.
