- This standard specifies the test methods for energy nonlinearity, peak-to-background ratio, maximum linear count rate, energy resolution, repeatability, instability and detection limit of energy dispersive X-ray fluorescence spectrometer. This standard applies to the test of the main performance of tube-excited energy-dispersive X-ray fluorescence spectrometers. Other energy-dispersive X-ray fluorescence spectrometers can also be used as a reference.
