Scope

This standard specifies a general method for the determination of the viscosity and flow properties of surfactant and detergent liquid products using a rotational viscometer. This standard applies to samples with a viscosity of 5 mPa • s~5×10⁴ mPa • s, and Newtonian samples below 5 mPa • s should use more accurate methods, such as capillary viscometers.
