Scope

This document specifies a method for the quantitative determination of the main constituents used in the composition of vulcanized rubber mixtures such as plasticizer(s), elastomer(s), carbon black(s) and mineral fillers. It makes it possible to establis the " identity sheet" of the material subjected to perfectly determined analysis conditions. However, the result obtained does not always correspond exactly to the theoretical formula of rubber.
