Scope: This standard specifies technical requirements for etiological examination, polymerase chain reaction (PCR), complement fixation test and competitive ELISA (C-ELISA) test of bovine contagious pleuropneumonia. Etiological examination and polymerase chain reaction (PCR) are suitable for pathogen diagnosis of acute, subacute and chronic disease cattle, and complement fixation test and competition ELISA (C-ELISA) test are suitable for antibody detection of bovine infectious pleuropneumonia infection cattle. This standard is applicable to the diagnosis of bovine contagious pleuropneumonia at ports, production and distribution centers, breeding enterprises or farmers.
