Scope

This standard specifies the basic technical requirements for equipment supervision related to the manufacturing quality of centrifugal compressors. This standard applies to the manufacturing supervision of centrifugal compressor units used in oil refining, ethylene, fertilizer, chemical and other equipment. This standard does not apply to the manufacturing supervision of integrally geared centrifugal compressors.
