Scope

This European Standard describes a GC-MS method for the determination of 12 phthalates, including the eight phthalates regulated by the European Regulation relating to cosmetic products 1223/2009. This method applies to the analysis of ready-to-use samples. be injected into an analytical system and come from cosmetic products or raw materials used in the composition of cosmetic products. Samples should be compatible with gas chromatography analysis after possible dilution. This method does not include requirements for sample preparation of incompa cosmetic matrices.
