- Scope
- This part of GB/T 26930 specifies the method for the determination of ash in coal tar pitch used in the production of primary aluminum. This section applies to the determination of ash in coal tar pitch used in primary aluminum production. Measuring range ≥ 0.05%. If it is necessary to express the results on a dry basis, subtract the moisture measured by GB/T 26970.1 (azeotropic distillation method), and convert the measured ash content to obtain the results on a dry basis.
