- This standard specifies the HPLC method for the determination of 8 banned furanocoumarins in cosmetics, including 8-methoxypsoralen. This standard is applicable to the determination of 8 banned furanocoumarins such as 8-methoxypsoralen in cream, loose powder, wax-based, water and shampoo cosmetics. The detection limit and quantification limit of this standard: the detection limit of 8-hydroxypsoralen is 0.1 mg/kg, and the quantification limit is 0.25 mg/kg; psoralen, isopsoralen, 8-methoxy The detection limit of psoralen, 5-methoxypsoralen, trimessalen, imperatorin and isoimperatorin was 0.2 mg/kg, and the limit of quantification was 0.5 mg/kg.
