Scope

This standard specifies the HPLC method for the determination of sunscreen agent diethylamino hydroxybenzoyl hexyl benzoate in cosmetics. This standard is applicable to the determination of sunscreen agent diethylamino hydroxybenzoyl hexyl benzoate in cream, emulsion, liquid and waxy cosmetics. The detection limit of this standard for diethylamino hydroxybenzoyl hexyl benzoate is 0.015%, and the limit of quantification is 0.05%.
