- Scope
- This standard specifies the method for determining the molecular weight and distribution of film-forming resins for digital printing materials by gel permeation chromatography. This standard applies to film-forming resins made by reacting phenol, cresol, diphenol, or two or three of them with formaldehyde. The applicable average weight-average molecular weight range is 2 000-40 000, the data molecular weight is 500-5 000, and the distribution coefficient is 4.0-8.0.
