- 1.1 This standard specifies the determination of trace oxygen-containing compounds in industrial ethylene and propylene by gas chromatography. 1.2 This standard is applicable to the determination of methanol, dimethyl ether, methyl tert-butyl ether, acetaldehyde, ethanol, isopropanol, acetone and methyl ethyl ketone with a concentration not less than 0.5 mL/m3 of ethylene and propylene . 1.3 This standard is not intended to address all safety issues associated with its use. Users are responsible for taking appropriate safety and health measures to ensure compliance with relevant national laws and regulations.
