- This standard specifies the terms and definitions, requirements and test methods for duplex high drum washing machines (hereinafter referred to as "washing machines"). This standard applies to electric-driven duplex high-loading washing machines used by non-professionals in households and similar situations. It is also applicable to the washing part of drum-type washing machines and drum-type washers and dryers where the height between the center line of the clothes pickup opening and the ground is not less than 800 mm.
