This standard informs about the physical and chemical properties and hazards of benzene substances, and stipulates emergency measures when benzene substances leak, leak site environmental monitoring, leak site treatment methods, and leakage disposal methods. This standard applies to the treatment and disposal of Class 3, Class 6, Class 1 and Class 8 benzene substances included in GB 12268-2012 when they leak during production, storage, use, operation and transportation.
