Scope

This standard specifies the test method for phosphorus content in chemical fiber phosphorus-based flame retardant products. Including method A - phosphomolybdenum blue spectrophotometry and method B - plasma emission spectrometry (ICP method). This standard is applicable to the determination of phosphorus content in chemical fiber phosphorus flame retardant products.
