Scope
This standard specifies the method for selecting the number of disc-shaped suspended porcelain or glass insulators for AC and DC overhead power transmission and transformation systems under high-altitude and polluted conditions. This standard is applicable to the selection of the number of disc-shaped suspended porcelain or glass insulators for AC and DC overhead transmission lines in areas with an altitude (1 000 ~ 5 500) m.
