Scope

This standard specifies the method for selecting the number of disk-shaped suspended porcelain or glass insulators for AC and DC overhead transmission lines under icing conditions at high altitudes. This standard is applicable to the selection of the number of disc-shaped suspended porcelain or glass insulators for AC and DC overhead transmission lines in areas with an altitude (1 000 ~ 5 500) m.
