Scope

This International Standard establis es a metric series of cylinder bore and pis on rod diameters for hydraulic and pneumatic cylinders, and specifies for each pair of diameters a corresponding standardized ratio between the effective areas. This International Standard applies only the dimensional characteris ics of products manufactured in accordance with this International Standard; it does not apply to their functional characteris ics.
