GB/T 6730.71-2014
Scope
This part of GB/T 6730 specifies the titration method for the determination of ferrous iron content. This section applies to the determination of ferrous iron content in natural and processed iron ores, the determination range (mass fraction): 0.2% ~ 28.0%. This method is only suitable for use in the ore reduction test specified in GB/T 24515 or GB/T 24189, and is not suitable for ores with a sulfur content greater than 0.3% or free carbon greater than 5.0%. The test shows that the acid-insoluble residue can be neglected under the requirement of the precision of the reduction test method.
