Scope

This standard specifies the test methods for the determination of the total nitrogen content of fertilizers, such as the back titration method after dis illation, the direct titration method after dis illation, and the Dumas combustion method. This standard applies to the determination of total nitrogen content in solid or liquid fertilizers. This standard also applies to soil conditioners.
