- This standard specifies test methods such as gravimetric method, plasma emis ion spectrometry method and spectrophotometric method for the determination of phosphorus content in fertilizers. This standard is applicable to the determination of total phosphorus, water-soluble phosphorus and available phosphorus in solid or liquid fertilizers. This standard also applies to soil conditioners.
