Scope

This standard specifies the summary of methods, instruments and equipment, measurement procedures and result calculations for determining the bulk density and tap density of uranium dioxide powder. This standard is applicable to the determination of bulk density and tap density of uranium dioxide powder used in pellet manufacturing. It is also applicable to ADU powder, uranium octoxide powder, uranium octoxide and uranium dioxide mixed powder, uranium octoxide Determination of mixed powders with gadolinium trioxide and mixed powders of uranium dioxide and gadolinium trioxide. Other fuel powders can also be determined by referring to this method.
