Scope

This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules and markings, packaging, transportation, storage, and shelf life of 3-l-(phenyl)oxy-1,2-propanediol. This standard applies to 3-l-(phenylene glycol)oxy-1,2-oxygen, which is prepared by chemical reaction of l-menthol and allyl chloride or 1,2-epoxy-3-chloropropane. The quality of propylene glycol was analyzed and evaluated.
