Scope

This standard specifies the method for determination of gel content in raw rubber. This standard is applicable to the determination of non-oil-extended butadiene rubber (BR), styrene-butadiene rubber (SBR), nitrile rubber (NBR), isoprene rubber (IR), Butyl rubber (IIR) and chloroprene rubber (CR), other rubbers can also be used with reference. This standard does not apply to the determination of microgels.
