Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, basic principles, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging and random documents, transportation and storage of automatic kinematic viscometer. This standard applies to automatic kinematic viscometers (hereinafter referred to as testers) for measuring the kinematic viscosity of transparent or opaque petroleum and liquid petroleum products (referred to as Newtonian fluids).
